Ras Mohamed is located in the meeting point between Gulf of Suez and Gulf of Aqaba therefore you will be able to experience the snorkeling in both sides. Ras Mohamed is 20 Km south of Sharm el-Sheikh “about 20 minutes away from Sharm”.

Gate of Allah
The gate guarding the entrance to the National Park is the calling card of the reserve and a mandatory stop for a photo.
Marvelous mangroves
The only plants in the world that can survive in salt water; they desalinate sea water and deposit salt on the leaves.
Water rift
Tectonic faults in the reserve appeared as a consequence of the earthquake.
It was this earthquake that divided Asia and Africa into two separate continents.
The visible part of the fault is filled with water, its depth is 40 meters, and its length is more than 400 meters.
Lake of Desires
The reservoir was formed thanks to unique salty springs; its composition is saturated with salt, just like the waters of the famous Dead Sea. The water in this lake is always
a little saltier and colder than the sea, as it comes from underground.
This lake also has magical properties - if you plunge into the water and make a wish, it will certainly come true.
Barracuda Bay
Swimming at the reefs, snorkeling - swimming with a mask and snorkeling for about 45 minutes.
This is a bay with an unusually bright color of water. On the left side of the bay is the beautiful Break Reef and small campsites. Here you can take excellent photos with amazing panoramic views of the bay and dunes.
